By accessing and using our website and companion care coordination platform, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We provide a service that connects families with trained companions who assist aging family members with everyday tasks, social presence, and independent living support. Your use of our platform indicates your acceptance of all terms outlined herein. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our services immediately. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of any updates. These terms apply to all users, including service seekers, family members, and companion care providers who interact with our platform.
User Obligations and Responsibilities
Users agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when registering on our platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. When booking companion care services, you must ensure that all information provided is current and accurate to facilitate appropriate matching with trained companions. Users agree not to engage in any unlawful activities, harassment, or conduct that could compromise the safety and dignity of our companions or other users. You acknowledge that our service focuses on everyday assistance and social support, and you will not request services beyond the scope of companion care coordination. All interactions must respect the professional boundaries established by our trained companions. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the Czech Republic regarding the use of our services and the treatment of aging family members receiving care.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on our platform, including text, images, logos, and proprietary information, is protected by intellectual property laws and belongs to us or our content providers. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use this content for personal purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or transmit any content without our prior written consent. Our matching algorithms, companion profiles, scheduling systems, and service coordination tools are proprietary intellectual property. Users may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the underlying technology or methodologies. Screenshots or content from our platform may not be shared publicly or used for commercial purposes without explicit permission. We protect the confidentiality of our companion profiles and training methodologies as trade secrets. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action and termination of your account access.
Limitation of Liability
We provide our companion care coordination service on an as-is basis. While we carefully vet and train all companions, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from companion care services. You acknowledge that companion care involves human interaction and that outcomes may vary based on individual circumstances and relationships. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our platform or services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid for services in the preceding twelve months. We are not responsible for companion availability, scheduling conflicts, or changes in companion assignments due to unforeseen circumstances. Users assume full responsibility for evaluating the suitability of companion care for their family members and making informed decisions about service engagement. Any disputes regarding service quality or outcomes should be addressed through our formal feedback and resolution process.
Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Termination may occur if you violate these terms, engage in unlawful activity, or demonstrate conduct that endangers others. Users may terminate their account at any time by submitting a formal request through our platform. Upon termination, all rights to use our services cease immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including service records and transaction history. Outstanding payments for services rendered remain due upon termination. Companions may discontinue providing services to specific users if professional boundaries are violated or safety concerns arise. We will provide reasonable notice when possible, but immediate termination may occur in situations involving harassment, safety risks, or serious violations of our terms and conditions.
